VERY PUZZLED

Patrick Adom wanted to teach his daughter about her Ghanaian roots, so he set himself a challenge. “My aim was to find a fun way to engage with her whilst allowing her to learn about her heritage, and came up with the idea of a jigsaw puzzle. I started working on it at the end of 2017, and by April 2018 had my first batch of puzzles.”

Fast-forward just under two years since its launch, and Very Puzzled has five more puzzles to add to its original Ghana showpiece: Nigeria, South Africa, Ethiopia, Jamaica and a map of Africa, all 100-piece and reasonably priced at £9.99. There’s plans to add more to the batch too: “I’m currently working on a London puzzle, and plan to do more countries and cities in Africa, a map of the Caribbean and each borough of New York,” he shares.
